Assalam Alaikum,

Thank you for the article on KAUST which faced some opposition from the local community and which is not free from controversy. However, it is a small step amongst many other steps taken towards the improvement of domestic science and technology in the OIC member states.

Inshallah, in the future you can cover such events as Iran's launch of biocapsule carrying living organisms to space and back using its indigenous and domestic technology, the inauguration of Princess Norah binte Abdul Rahman University (world's largest Women-only university), ADAT (Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies), ATIC (Advanced Technology Investment Company), Mubadala, Dubai Aerospace, or even reports on how to reinvigorate the scientific research scene in Uzbekistan, for example, with its myriad of research and development institutes suffering from shortage of funds and which follow the directives of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences. Some of these institutes include, but are not limited to, INP (Institute of Nuclear Physics, www.inp.uz), LTP (Laboratory for Theoretical Phsyics, www.ltp.fan.uz), PTI (Physical-Technical Institute, fti.fan.uz), UBAI (Ulugh Beg Astronomical Institute, www.astrin.uzsci.net/rus/index.html),AIE (Arifov Institute of Electronics, www.aie.uz), IMSSS (instmech.fan.uz), IM (Institute of Microbiology, biophys.fan.uz) and dozens of other similar institutions in Uzbekistan, and thousands of other institutions and departments across the OIC member states.

Such firms and institutes as Scomi Group (Malaysia), Perodua, LAPAN, PT DI, among others may also be the focus of special reports.

I hope you will consider these suggestions and produce delightful reports of notable institutes, firms, personalities, success stories and events across the OIC member states.
Assalamu Alaikum.
