Objective:
Increase the competencies of the senior staff of the newly established destination management organization (DMO) in Al Quds.
Approach:
Conducted a training needs assessment through in-depth interviews with staff as well as stakeholders
Developed training modules covering the following topics: tourism strategy, tourism product development and marketing, and destination management
Delivered the training virtually over Zoom, while ensuring an interactive training format that encouraged full participation of trainees
Training sessions were recorded and all materials provided to senior staff to allow them to train other staff members in the future
